Looking at various faces of Jizo (Guardian deity) will unwind yourself.
At the central of Yonago city, many Jizo sama is enshrined along the old Kamogawa.
Since Edo period, there is a custom known as “Fudauchi” that when some relatives passed away, people stick the white piece of paper every seven days and red one on 7th week to those Jizo so that the spirits of the dead could be protected. Now it is said that a wish come true if you write it on the piece of the paper.
Every year at “Kamogawa festival”, there is a popular event called “Jizo walk” which people with tour guide are visiting and putting their memo on each Jizo while listening some story about life people living along Kamogawa and how it was named.
Visiting Jizo and walking the old town will heal your stress.
