Merchant city Yonago are also known as “Osaka in Sanin”.
Yonago have been developed and flexible means of distribution and evolution of railroad as well as highways. History tells us that many places retains traditional into modern, such as Hondori and Waraidori shopping arcade.
From the corner of Yonago station through Kamogawa, the shopping arcade is 800m long and various shops are lined up.
Although, throughout the country, shopping arcades are disappearing, Yonago shopping arcade is preserving itself and creating new values.

They are creating attractive “Commercial spaces”, such as fancy café and restaurant, vintage clothes shops popular among young people, and live music bars.

Besides, they host some traditional events, such as flea market (irregularly), New Year’s Eve count down market (New Year’s Eve), and Saturday night market (every Saturday during summer seasons) and are crowded with customers.
